Hello my name is Roy Bretton, I have been in business since 1983 and been working online since 1996. Until ten years ago I had never used a computer and when I did start using a PC, I have to admit I found it painfully frustrating, time consuming and slow. It wasn’t until broadband became available that I could see the potential of earning a living online or as it is known “Internet Marketing”. It was from this point on that I started to study internet marketing and try and learn the principles of making money online.
We have all seen the get rich quick schemes, over the years I have purchased many internet marketing products, some very good and some not so good. There are many products out there that make claims like star making $1000 a day in the next 15 minutes and yes many people make a lot of money on line, but like any business, it takes time and effort. Internet marketing is not about getting rich quick, it is about creating a long term business, that in time will produce you a stable income.
Is It Possible To Make Money Online?
Making money online is not easy, it takes time and effort, it is a skill, just like plumbing or carpentry or engineering, you need to learn these skills. Many would be marketers or opportunity seekers will go from product to product without taking any action or completing there no plan of action, unfortunately these people will almost certainly fail. But don’t worry most of us have been in this position at some point in our lives, you need to have a positive plan of action and actually carry out your plan.
Remember that, just because you have a website, it doesn’t mean you have a business, there are thousands of websites out there, that are not making money, you have to be able to sell a product.
What Is A Business?
A business is someone that has customers and someone who communicates with there customers and tries to help them, not just trying to sell something. I know with my other conventional businesses that you need to communicate with people, listen to them, be polite and try give value and keep them informed on progress.
The aim of this website is to help people, to talk about products that I have actually used myself and that offer valuable and important information and hope full not to make the mistakes that I have made.
