How To Create A Facebook Business Page

I am going to create a Facebook business page on a live video, this video is approximately seven minutes long and it shows how easy it is to build a quick Facebook page for your business. I will show more features on Facebook pages in the future, but at least this way you have a Facebook page up very quickly for your business.

If you go to the drop down menu on the blue menu bar next to the padlock on the right-hand side, there is an option to “create a page”. It will then give you various options to choose from depending on your business type, I’m choosing to create a local service for my page. I will then fill in the name of my Facebook page and then click on the terms and conditions and then click “get started”.

We now have the option select a cover for your Facebook page, the correct size for this is 851 pixels by 315 pixels, my photograph actually isn’t quite the size, but it seems to fit okay for my particular needs, you can drag the photograph around until you find the required correct position. You can change the cover photograph at any time if you are not happy with the way the photograph looks. You can repeat the process for the logo picture or profile picture on the left-hand side of the page. The correct sizes are 180 pixels by 180 pixels.

In the centre of your Facebook page, it says, write a description, so basically say what your page is about using keywords that describe your business. I have written, “this Facebook page is about. Grinding in Essex” I will add some more content to this page later on.

There are more descriptions and buttons that you can add to your Facebook business page, including, write a note, advertise your business, share a photo or video, create an event, add a button and much more. I hope to add more videos on the subject of Facebook pages at a later date.

You’re now ready to write a post about your business or your new Facebook page, once again I will make some more videos on commenting and getting more followers.

Thank you for reading.
