Are You Calling The Right Telephone Number?

The title of my daily devotion today is entitled; are you calling the right telephone number?

I believe that every person on this earth has problems and issues to deal with every day. Most of us carry mobile phones around with us which allows us to call friends and family which is great. However, how many of us call on the name of Jesus to solve our problem?!

In Jeremiah 33:3 it says;

3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and [a]mighty things, which you do not know.’

These Are Very Powerful Words

Call to me, and I will answer you. That’s powerful! So this means that when we call on the name of Jesus he will answer us! We may not see an immediate change, however, in many circumstances, I have had an answer to my question instantly!

We have to remember that when we pray and we pray in confidence and in faith and with an expectant heart, our prayers will be answered. It’s no good crying and then walking away saying, I don’t think anything will happen! This will only hold things back because you are doubting your prayers and your doubting that your prayers will be heard.

The verse also says; that I can show you mighty things which you do not know.

Once again, this is very powerful. I believe that the Holy Spirit can show us great things, I have personally seen this many times myself.

So why not today, instead of calling a friend, call on the name of Jesus and expect him to answer.
