Working from Home – Do You Know Your Full Potential?

I thought I would write today about the subject of working from home – do you know your full potential? Personally, I really like to see people doing well and I really like to see people being released into their full potential, sadly many people will not reach their full potential. We only have one life on this earth and I believe it is good to make the most of it. We have to be totally responsible for our own life and not make excuses for not taking action or blaming someone else for the way our life is.

You Only Have One Life In This World

I see too many people not taking advantage of the opportunities that surround us, I appreciate that some people in some countries do not have the opportunities that we have here in the Western world. However, I think it’s good if we make every effort to fulfil our dreams and help other people fulfil their dreams.

I have been very privileged to have worked for myself since 1983, I haven’t had to do that tedious nine till five job every day, I have had to work hard, but also have the freedom to work the hours that I want to, which is fantastic. I’m not bound by four weeks holiday a year, I choose to take time when it actually suits me and I am also fortunate that I have enjoyed my working life and want to carry on doing this. Although I work online and have been making money online since 2007 long term I will probably work full-time on the Internet. However, at the moment I really enjoy my off-line business as it gives you the opportunity to be outside which is something that I’ve always enjoyed.

Working From Home Jobs

The Internet has opened up huge opportunities for us to make money online, I have many friends who work for large corporations and smaller businesses too who are able to work from and 50% of the time or even more, it does take good self-discipline though! I guess this is the next best thing to working for yourself.

However, the only way for true work freedom, I believe is to work for yourself thankfully the Internet has opened up many new opportunities that were not available just a few years ago.

Do you know that every one of us has huge potential, I believe we just need to be released into that potential and this happens when we take action! Are you ready?

Working From Home Opportunities

One of the best ways to make money online and simplest ways is through affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is a way to sell a product without actually handling the product yourself or having the worry of the after sales back up.

Basically, you have your own website, which in turn drives people to an affiliate website, where you can then earn a potential commission. So, for example, you may write a review about an electric kettle that you have purchased and you want to tell people all the benefits and what a great product it has been. You would then direct them through an affiliate link, which is a unique code that tells the website that is selling the product that they have come from your website, it’s a very simple way to make commissions from literally millions of products. I have been using affiliate marketing since 2007 to earn money online, I have several websites on various niches that earn me commissions on a regular basis.

Sign Up To An Affiliate Program

Before you can sell any affiliate products you need to find an affiliate program that suits your particular niche. You can almost find affiliate programs for every single product on the market. If I’m looking for a particular product to market I would carry out a search through Google, for example, affiliate programs for fishing or affiliate programs for car parts or whatever your niche may be. It is very rare not be able to find some sort of affiliate program for your particular niche.

Here are a few popular affiliate programs in no particular order, just remember that not all programs are available in every country. Amazon has an affiliate program, but that affiliate program works by country, so if you want to promote all the Amazon affiliate programs you will have to sign up to each programme individually, which some people actually do.

The affiliate programs that I use most are Webgains and eBay, however, the only reason for this is that these affiliate programs for my particular niche.

Google AdSense – Another Way To Make Money From Home

My first moneymaking website was what we call a Google AdSense website, Google actually paid me rather than me paying Google!

Google AdSense is probably one of the simplest ways to monetise your website, I spent lots of time adding content and then added a script to my website, which Google will provide you with. There are different types of ads, varying from banner ads to text ads, they come in various shapes and sizes to suit your website and can be used to blend in with your actual content. If you add Google AdSense to your website, it doesn’t have to look like an advertising page, it can be neatly wrapped around your text and images without being too dominating.

I was regularly making three figures every month just from Google AdSense, from one website, if I can do it, you definitely can!

Sell Advertising On Your Website

Once you start to get a decent amount of traffic to your website you can actually start to monetise it through advertising packages, this is something that I have done and it works well. Once companies see that you have a presence on the web they are more than willing to pay four figures annually to have a banner on your website.

Write A Book

This is something that I have not tried as yet, that I’m very interested but I do know that many people have made a lot of money through writing an e-book. You don’t actually have to write the e-book yourself, you can outsource this for someone else to write, it all depends how much you like writing! Amazon is a great resource to help you.

So To Conclude

Are you going to work from home and be released into your full potential? I suggest you do because this is the best decision you will make, I love the freedom that working for yourself brings.
