How Taking Action Can Lead To 3 Figures A Day

Today I want to talk about how taking action can lead to 3 figures a day and beyond. It’s something that has made a big difference to my results online over the last six and a half months. I have been working online for years (mainly with affiliate marketing), and I have also owned a few offline businesses. So I am not new to the idea that results usually come from steady effort, not quick wins. But what I am seeing again and again is this: taking consistent action, even in small daily steps, can genuinely change your situation over time.

In my case, I started something new around six and a half months ago. I began from zero, I did not fully understand everything at the start, and I treated it as a test. Over time, that consistent approach has built up to three figures a day, and it is continuing to grow.

This post is not about hype, and it is not about naming specific platforms. It is about the principles that got me moving and kept me moving, because those principles apply to almost any online income stream.

The biggest reason most people do not get results online

In my experience, many people start an online business enthusiastically. They might put in a strong week or two, then they look at the numbers, see little or no progress, and decide it is not working.

That is a shame, because online results often work like this:

  • You do the work first.
  • You learn while doing the work.
  • The results show up later.

If you want a solid starting point for building online in a practical way, I have a full guide here: How To Start Making Money Online With A Zero Budget.

Why I still believe in affiliate marketing (and why I added something new)

Affiliate marketing is still a great model. It is low cost to start, you build skills that last, and it can become a long-term asset if you stick with it. If you are newer to the model, you may find this useful: Affiliate Marketing Explained.

But here is something I have learned after years online: you do not always need to quit what works. Sometimes it is smarter to keep what works and carefully add something else that complements it.

I wrote about that approach here: Why I Didn’t Quit Affiliate Marketing – But Added This.

My approach: test first, talk later

When I started this newer project, I did not rush to tell everyone about it. I wanted to understand it properly. I wanted to see whether it worked in real life, and I wanted to see how consistent effort affected the outcome.

That is how I prefer to operate online. I test. I track. I learn. Then I speak from experience, not theory.

What “taking action” actually looks like (in real life)

People often say “take action”, but that can sound vague. For me, it comes down to a few practical habits:

  • Do something every day (even if it is small).
  • Keep learning so you get better as you go.
  • Track what is happening so you are not guessing.
  • Give things time to build properly.

One of the reasons I have stayed consistent is because I have always valued structured learning. Wealthy Affiliate has helped me with the fundamentals for years, and I still use those skills across everything I do online.

If you want to see my thoughts on Wealthy Affiliate after a long time using it, here are two posts that explain why I still rate it:

Consistency beats motivation (and community helps)

Motivation is useful, but it comes and goes. Consistency is what produces results.

Another factor that helps massively is being around the right people. When you are connected to people who are also building, it is easier to stay steady, ask questions, and keep moving forward.

If this is something you struggle with, read this: Get Around The Right People.

And if you are building anything that involves teamwork or shared momentum, this ties in well too: Why Building With A Team Changes Everything.

Use AI to learn faster, but do not lose your voice

We are living in a time where you can learn quicker than ever. YouTube, training platforms, and AI tools can speed up the learning curve massively.

But there is a warning here: do not outsource your brain. AI can help you organise ideas, improve clarity, and save time, but your experience and your voice are what build trust.

I wrote about this here: Are You Posting AI Slop?.

A practical way to think about three figures a day

Three figures a day is a nice milestone, but it does not happen because someone “gets lucky”. It usually happens because someone stays consistent long enough for momentum to build.

If you are starting something new, here is a simple way to think about it:

  1. Start small. Do not overcomplicate the first steps.
  2. Prove it works. Testing removes fear and guesswork.
  3. Build routine. Routine beats bursts of effort.
  4. Scale what is already working. Do more of what produces results.

That is how I approached my last six and a half months. Not with pressure, not with hype, and not expecting instant results. Just steady action and steady learning.

Final thoughts

If you are reading this and you have been thinking about starting (or restarting) something online, let me encourage you: you do not need to do everything at once. You just need to do something today, then again tomorrow.
