In this tutorial, I demonstrate exactly how I launch five WordPress websites back-to-back in around five minutes using the Wealthy Affiliate (WA) website builder and hosting. It’s a practical, repeatable workflow you can use to spin up multiple sites for testing ideas, client demos, or launching a small network of niche sites.
Why this method?
- One dashboard: Domain selection, WordPress install, SSL and basic security are handled in a single place.
- Fast deployment: Ideal when you want several clean installs ready for content the same day.
- Beginner-friendly: No command line or manual database work required.
Prerequisites
- Domains ready to use (or be prepared to register/use a free subdomain inside WA).
- A starter theme in mind to keep choices simple during the build.
- A short site title for each project (you can change titles later).
Step-by-step: launching five sites
- Open the WA dashboard and go to Websites → Build a new site.
- Choose your option:
- Free subdomain (quick tests),
- Use a domain you own (my usual choice), or
- Register a new domain.
- Enter the domain and a site title.
- Select a lightweight starter theme (you can switch later).
- Click Build My Website. When the first install begins, repeat the process for sites two through five in new tabs.
- Open each site to verify it’s live. If you see “site already installed,” it simply means that domain has an active WordPress—move to the next one.
What I do immediately after install
- General settings: Set timezone, site tagline (or leave blank), and site language.
- Permalinks: Switch to Post name.
- Users: Create an editor/admin if you’re collaborating.
- Pages: Add About, Contact, and Privacy Policy.
- Backups & security: Enable backup and a basic security plugin.
Common questions
How fast is it really? The build itself takes well under a minute per site on a good connection. The overall five-site workflow usually fits into a five-to-ten-minute window, depending on domain DNS status and how long you spend choosing themes.
Can I move later? Yes. You can migrate to different hosting if needed. I often prototype here, then move established projects as they grow.
Which theme should I start with? Keep it simple. Choose a clean, lightweight theme to start publishing quickly—styling can come later.
Next steps: turn fresh installs into real sites
- Sketch a 10-post content plan and publish your first two articles today.
- Set up analytics and search console for each domain.
- Create a basic menu and footer, and add your logo or site title.
- Add an email capture form once you’ve published a few posts.
