WordPress To Profits – Creating A Privacy Policy Part 4
The title of my thumbnail and blog post is “WordPress to Profits: Creating a Privacy Policy.” Now, the last video I created was about creating your first post, but now we need to add a privacy policy, which is very easy because there’s a template that you can use. I’ll put it on my website, and you can copy it.
So, here’s the template. (You can find the template in the blog post below.) Basically, it says your website and then you put your website name in place. All you need to do is go to your website, copy the address in the URL – which is whatever your website is called, not “Welcome to Your New Website” – just “everythingforthegarden.com,” in this case.

Let’s go here. We need to copy this, but I’ve actually got a copy where I put my website address in, so I have “everythingforthegarden” with the HTTPS, etc. I’m going to copy that, highlight it, and then we’re going to paste it.
Make Your Privacy Policy A Page
Now, I’m going to go to my dashboard within my website. I’m going to make this a page, not a post. So, let’s go to “All Pages,” and then let’s go to “Add New Page.” We’re going to write “Privacy Policy” – maybe it’ll help if I spell it right! Then we’ll right-click; I always paste things in as plain text when I can. And there it is! It’s in there. No need for any pictures or anything – ignore the spell checker – and we’re going to click “Publish.”
Now we can view the page either here or here, and that’s our privacy policy put up. It’s very straightforward.
I’ll leave the address where you can copy the privacy policy at the bottom of this YouTube video in the description to make it easy for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment. I’m here to help and encourage. Thank you very much for watching!
