How To Restake In 9MX

How To Restake In 9MX
How To Restake In 9MX

In this post, I want to walk through how to restake in 9MX step by step. If you already have funds building inside the platform and want to compound them back in, this is a simple process once you know where everything is. I recently recorded a video on this very subject, and this article follows the same journey in written form so that people can go through it at their own pace.

Over recent months, 9M has moved across to 9MX, and a number of changes have taken place along the way. From what I have seen so far, some of those changes appear to have improved the platform and made the process clearer. For anyone who wants a wider background first, it may help to read my earlier post on Inside 9MX: Full AI Investment Presentation and Walkthrough, as well as my article covering the latest 9MX updates and positive changes.

Why Restaking Matters

Restaking is important because it allows profits already sitting inside the platform to be put back to work. Rather than leaving rewards and income sitting idle, they can be gathered together, converted where necessary, and used to open or top up another fund. Over time, that can help the account grow without constantly adding fresh outside money.

This is one of the reasons why I have spoken before about staking periods and platform strategy. If you want more background on the different staking lengths, have a look at my earlier post on how long to stake for on 9M, because the general thinking behind the different term lengths still helps when deciding what to do on 9MX.

Starting From The Assets Section

The first step is to log into the platform and head to the assets area. I personally prefer using a desktop computer rather than the app, simply because I like seeing everything clearly on screen. Plenty of people are happy using the app, but for me the website is easier when going through figures and making sure each step is correct.

Once inside the assets section, the aim is to gather together the funds that are available for restaking. That usually means checking both the VIP challenge rewards and the investment income section, then moving those amounts into the platform wallet.

Receiving VIP Challenge Rewards

Inside the assets area, go to the VIP challenge section and look at the available reward balance. In my example, there was an amount showing as available to receive. The next step was simply to choose the option to receive those rewards and deposit them into the platform wallet.

This is a useful part of the process because it moves that money into a form that can be used for the next stage. Until you do this, the balance may still be sitting in the reward section rather than being ready for exchange or restaking.

Withdrawing Investment Income Into The Platform Wallet

After receiving the VIP rewards, the next place to visit is the investment income section. Again, if there is income waiting there, it needs to be withdrawn into the platform wallet. In my case, there was another amount available, so I selected the option to withdraw it into the wallet.

It is worth checking the figures carefully at this stage. Even when a handling fee applies, the important thing is to understand where that fee is coming from and what your resulting balance will be once the transaction is complete. When everything has gone through correctly, the wallet balance should show the updated total available for the next move.

Checking The USD9 Balance

Once both the rewards and the investment income have been moved across, it is a good idea to confirm the total in the wallet. In my example, the combined amount came to just over 103 in USD9. That figure then became the basis for the next stage, which was converting it into USDT.

This part is important because the restaking process depends on having the right currency available. If the funds are still sitting in USD9, they need to be exchanged before moving into the fund purchase stage.

Using Quick Exchange To Convert USD9 Into USDT

From the assets page, go to the quick exchange section. There you can select the currency you are exchanging from and the currency you want to receive. In this case, the route was from USD9 into USDT. On the version I used, USDT was the only option available for that exchange, so the choice was straightforward.

After selecting the full balance, the exchange can be confirmed. It is always sensible to double-check the exchange rate on the screen before pressing the final button. Once the operation is successful, the funds should now be available in USDT and ready for staking.

Choosing The Staking Period

After the exchange is complete, the next job is to go to the fund section and choose the staking term. On 9MX there are several options, including shorter periods, but I personally tend to choose the 360-day option. The reason is simple: it offers the highest return out of the available terms.

That does not mean it is right for everybody. Some people may prefer a shorter term for flexibility, while others may be more comfortable going for the longer option. It comes down to personal preference, risk tolerance, and how you want to manage your account over time.

Entering The Purchase Amount

With the 360-day option selected, the next stage is to enter the amount you want to restake. This is where it helps to pay close attention because the platform may calculate part of the requirement using another internal token amount as well. In my example, I tested different figures until I found an amount that used the available balance correctly.

Eventually, I was able to complete a purchase using 104 together with the required 9MC amount, which brought the total purchase to 130 USD. Once confirmed, the platform accepted it and the new fund was created successfully.

If you are new to this part, take your time and do not rush the figures. It is better to test the amount carefully than to make assumptions and press ahead too quickly.

Confirming The Restake Has Worked

Once the fund has been purchased, it is worth viewing the fund details to make sure everything has gone through properly. The confirmation screen should show the date of the new fund and the updated investment totals. In my own example, the restake went through on 24 March 2026, and I could also see the earlier fund that had been created several weeks before.

After that, I went back through the assets sections again to confirm that the available VIP and investment income balances had reduced to zero, which is exactly what you would expect after moving and restaking those funds.

My General Approach

At the moment, I am keeping things fairly modest and allowing the account to grow steadily. I may add more funds later on, but for now I am comfortable keeping it smaller and documenting the journey as I go. That has been my approach for some time now. I prefer to show what I am actually doing rather than pretending to be an expert on things I have not personally tested.

If you are interested in the broader background behind the platform, you may also want to read The 9M AI Investments Platform Presentation and my post on what happens on the regular 9MX presentations. Those articles help explain the bigger picture and may answer some of the more general questions people have before they begin.

A Word Of Caution

As always, this is not financial advice. Anything connected with crypto and online platforms carries risk, and nobody should put in money they cannot afford to lose. I am simply sharing what I am doing and showing the process as clearly as I can so that others can understand how it works.

If you decide to use any platform of this kind, it makes sense to start carefully, learn the system properly, and double-check each move before confirming it. That is especially true when exchanging funds, selecting staking terms, and working out how much to restake.

Final Thoughts

Restaking in 9MX is not especially difficult once you understand the flow. First, receive any available rewards. Then withdraw investment income into the platform wallet. After that, exchange USD9 into USDT, choose your preferred fund term, and complete the purchase. Once done, check the fund details and confirm that everything has updated as expected.

I hope this written guide helps make the process clearer. If you prefer watching it being done on screen, the accompanying video will walk you through the same steps in real time. If you have questions, feel free to leave a comment on the video or blog post and I will do my best to help.
