YouTube creators Academy, is it good?

I’ve just started the YouTube creators Academy course on YouTube as I thought it would be a good idea to learn the correct way to use YouTube, so my question is YouTube creators Academy, is it good?

I literally started the YouTube creators Academy a couple of days ago, I was looking to increase my knowledge on how to get the best out of YouTube and although I have learnt quite a lot over the years I thought it would be good to learn from the experts, YouTube themselves!

I Have Several Websites

I have several websites and I have created quite a few videos over the years and sometimes it seems that the videos that you think people will not be interested in, they seem to be very keen to watch. I have one video that has around 1/4 of a million views and then I have other videos that may have only been viewed 20 times, admittedly the viewing figures go up as time goes on.

I actually came across the YouTube creators Academy via an email that YouTube sent me, I didn’t actually know there was such a course available. I carried out some research and I asked a question on a website that I’m a member of, you can see the post that I wrote here, it seemed like people like the idea and many people didn’t know there was such a course available, including myself, so I think there will be more people signing up for this course!

YouTube Creators Academy

The course contains about 30 lessons and within each lesson courses are broken down into small bite size pieces, most of the training videos are between 2 to 3 minutes long, this makes it very easy to focus and you can learn something even if you only have a few minutes to spare and then come back to the course later. After each module or section of the training course, there are questions to answer to test your knowledge, in other words, to check that you have understood what you have learnt. And then after each module, there is a small exam and then you receive a letter of confirmation that you have completed the module.

The first part of the course is almost about dos and don’ts, very important as we do not our YouTube channel flagged or taken down. Many of the questions and the answers are common sense, but it’s definitely good to go through the ins and outs and the rules before we really get going on our YouTube channel.

Just Getting Started

I have just started lesson two of the YouTube creators Academy, these lessons are about being found on YouTube which is probably one of the most important lessons that we need to participate in, it’s so important to have the right title and to be found on YouTube.
