In this post, I want to show you how you can claim your free credits with Wealthy Affiliate. This is ideal for anyone who’s just joined the platform or is thinking about trying it out for free.

If you’re new to Wealthy Affiliate, you can start with a completely free Starter account. There’s no credit card required, and you’ll instantly receive some free AI credits to help you explore what the platform can do.

Accessing Your Credits

Once you’ve joined, you can find your credits by going to the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your Wealthy Affiliate dashboard. Click on “WA Credits” and you’ll see how many credits you’ve received.

In my example, I set up a test account called Roy Test, which received 1,500 free credits. These are available to all Starter members and are ideal for testing out features like AI tools and research functions.

How Free Members Can Use Credits

As a free member, you can use your credits inside the Wealthy Affiliate platform for a variety of purposes, including:

Keyword research using the Jaaxy tool.
Logo design through the DesignPop tool (typically costs between 400–800 credits depending on your project).
Exploring new tools such as the upcoming Image Studio.
Requesting website comments or feedback to help your site rank higher in search engines.

You can also earn more credits by participating within the community. For example, when you comment on other members’ blog posts or contribute to discussions, you receive credits as a reward for engaging.

It’s worth noting that while free members can earn and spend credits within the platform, only Premium members can cash them out for real money. Still, free members have plenty of ways to make good use of them to grow and learn.

Making the Most of the Free Account

The Wealthy Affiliate Starter account gives you a chance to explore without any commitment. You can test tools, complete the first level of training, and even build your first website.

When you’re ready to upgrade, you’ll find an Upgrade button within your account dashboard. Premium and Premium Plus members receive full access to training, website hosting, the affiliate program, and the ability to cash out earned credits.

I always recommend that new members thoroughly test the free version first. Make sure you like how the platform works and that it fits your goals. If you enjoy it, the upgrade options are great value for what you receive.
