How To Find A Perfect Domain Name
In this video, I want to show you how to find a perfect domain name. As we know, websites have been out for quite a few years, making it slightly harder to find the domain name you would like. Sometimes, we can quickly brainstorm and find the right domain name, but other times, it’s more difficult. If you’re looking for a domain name, why not try our domain finder here? You can also see another blog post and video on finding a domain for your new website.
If the domain name you require is unavailable, sometimes it can be hard to find the right domain for your website. This is where AI can help. I’m not a huge fan of AI, but it certainly has its uses and is very good for brainstorming ideas.
You Can See The Video Below On How To Find A Perfect Domain Name.
Using The Right Prompts For AI
It’s always important to use the right prompts with AI, we have to almost imagine that we are talking to a human. If we do not give the correct information, it cannot give us the correct answer. You can find a prompt on my website page and all the information that you need. You can also adjust the prompt accordingly; for example, I’m looking for a .co.uk domain in this instance. But obviously, this can be changed to whatever you want at the end of your domain name.
Personally, I prefer a.com if it’s for a worldwide business or if it’s perhaps a local business, then I would use a.co.uk. Obviously, that is for a UK website, but use what is appropriate for your own country. Dotcom domains are generally more expensive than a local domain like .co.uk, but just go on the advice I provided in the video.
It’s also important not to have any dashes or abbreviations in your domain name. I believe many people are potentially losing out to traffic as people can never remember where an abbreviation should go in the domain name. So, I would keep it simple and straightforward and avoid any abbreviations. If you can’t find the exact domain, find something similar and this is where AI can help you. Or you may even be able to brainstorm yourself for an idea.
This Is The AI Prompt I Use
You can copy and paste the prompt into ChatGPT, just remove the quotation marks. “I would like to create a website on garden products and plants. I am looking for a co.uk domain. Please note that I don’t want any abbreviations in the domain name. Are you able to give me some suggestions on finding a good domain name, please?” The prompt can be changed accordingly and what your exact requirements are.
