Thank you Roy for sharing this story. It brings back memories of my early prayer life when things were fresh and new and each new answer was unbelievable. Literally unbelievable because we would pray believing, right?, and then be shocked when the answer came. I will be sharing in my own blog many of the wonderful answers to prayer that we have seen. Thank you for the inspiration.

We have very similar stories. I walked away from church when I was thirteen to find a job. I found one just up the road from the neighborhood church that I attended and would walk right passed the church Monday through Saturday to go to the country club where I was a caddy and pro-shop attendant. But on Sunday I walked the long way. I didn’t want anyone asking where I had been or telling me they had missed me. After graduating high school (and after doing all the things that naughty high schoolers do) and through very painful circumstances I found myself back in church. God rocked my world and shook me enough to get my attention.

So you see – very similar. While there at church I also looked for new faces to greet and to make feel welcome. It became my ministry and people would actually point visitors out to me. But anyway this is enough about me. I appreciate your story and the way God answered this first prayer for you. It is always amazing when He does that.

I cannot wait to read more. And I will be back to do so.

    Thank you and kind regards,

    Carl J. Dill

Thank you for taking the time to reply Carl, I appreciate it! It is great that you have a similar story to tell Carl, and yes I remember those first answers to prayer, something that we must never forget!

I heard Todd White say the other day, imagine what it would be like if Christians really believed in the supernatural Christian life, sadly I see a lot of dead Christians, I want to live the supernatural Christian life.

It’s great that you have found your ministry, Carl, I think it’s a great thing to be able to lift up and encourage those around us. I’d love to see Christians grow into their full potential.

It’s great to connect with you Carl and once again thank you for your comment.

I love your post Roy. I have always felt that God puts people into other people’s lives for a reason. Sometimes we just don’t know until years later. You were truly blessed by God that day!
